Chenyi & Tiangseng love story in Son Marroig

The beauty of a wedding day isn’t just in the grand gestures or the big crowds; it’s in the quiet, heartfelt moments shared between two people in love. That’s what made Chenyi and Tiangseng’s wedding in Son Marroig so incredibly special.

Coming all the way from China to exchange vows in the breathtaking setting of Mallorca, their day was a beautiful testament to their love story. While many of their loved ones couldn’t make the long journey, the love and support from those who were there filled the air. It was a poignant reminder that love knows no distance, and sometimes, a few devoted hearts are all you need to make a moment feel truly complete.

As a wedding speaker, it was an honor to witness their ceremony. Their smiles were radiant, and their love for each other was so genuine and pure. You could feel it in every word they spoke. We even had a few laughs about their shared passion for cars and the thrill of the open road—a perfect metaphor for the exciting journey they’ve now begun together.

About Chenyi and Tiangseng:

We met in Shanghai Theatre Academy. The groom’s major is lighting design, and the bride’s major is stage design, so we knew about each other in a performance crew, after that, we began to get to know each other, and at the night of 16/12/2019, we confirmed our relationship in a small bar, that’s to say, we fell in love in the theatre.

We are a couple who are keen on engines! Whether it’s a car or a motorcycle, we love driving and listening to the sound of the engine! We think that’s so cool. So we have a car and a motorcycle, we have been modifying the car according to our own preferences and ideas for 3 years, we believe it’ll last longer.

Besides, we all like skiing, cooking delicious food and traveling, especially our works are in the same field, so we always have a lot of common topics and things we want to accomplish.

The proposal happened on the bride’s birthday of 2023. We went to a restaurant to have dinner as a usual birthday. When we sat down, the waiter told us that we could change to a private room, I didn’t doubt, I just felt so lucky. When we entered the room, our best friends began to cheer, and the room was covered with roses, and the TV on the wall was playing the video made by the groom himself, recording the story and details of us. With 999 roses and a diamond ring, I said YES.

The ring is designed by the groom, he models, draws and looks for a factory by himself. It’s composed of a whole diamond and a four-claw ring support.

In Chinese, my friends like to call me “小船”, means “a little boat” in English. So there is a sentence of a Spanish poem engraved in the circle of the ring——“Este es un puerto, aquí te amo.”
