Luxury Wedding Officiant & Celebrant in Mallorca

I am Iban Collin. I’ve lived in Mallorca since 1999, and I’ve been part of its wedding world since 2007 — first as a photographer, which is where I actually learned what makes a ceremony work: light, timing, emotion, the difference between a moment felt and one lost to the day.

Since 2022, I’ve brought that experience to officiating ceremonies directly, at venues including Son Marroig, Cap Rocat, Four Seasons Formentor, Son Bunyola, and Hospes Maricel — places I don’t just work at, I know how they run, who’s on staff, and how the light moves across each one at golden hour.

I officiate in English, Spanish, French, and German.

“We feel incredibly lucky to have had Iban as our wedding celebrant in Mallorca. From the very beginning, he brought a sense of warmth, humor, and genuine care that set the perfect tone for our ceremony — it was everything we had hoped for and so much more.”— Jessie, Los Angeles

Your story, told the way it deserves.

Every ceremony is built entirely around you as a couple, not a fixed religious structure — centered on personalized vows that actually sound like you, delivered by someone who already knows exactly how your chosen venue works.

Q&A

Frequently asked questions from clients and answers to them. If you have any questions, text to me on social networks.

What’s the difference between a wedding celebrant and a wedding officiant?

Celebrant and officiant describe the same role — the terms are simply more common in different countries. Both mean someone who writes and delivers your ceremony, built entirely around you as a couple.

Do you officiate in languages other than English?

Yes. Ceremonies are officiated directly in English, Spanish, French, and German, with two-language delivery available for couples with international guest lists.

Is the ceremony legally binding, or symbolic?

Most couples handle the legal paperwork separately, either in their home country before traveling or through a local civil ceremony, and have their Mallorca ceremony as the one their families and friends actually attend and remember.

Which venues do you work at in Mallorca?

Regularly at Son Marroig, Cap Rocat, Comassema, Four Seasons Formentor, Son Bunyola, and Hospes Maricel, among others — venues where I already know the layout, the team, and how the day flows.

How far in advance should we book?

Popular dates and venues fill up well over a year ahead for peak season (May–October). Reaching out early keeps your date and preferred venue open, even if other planning details aren’t finalized yet.
